Question by Christina: Can I get a job in graphics design with only a high school diploma?
Lately I’ve been thinking about my future but I don’t know how I’m going to get scholarships to pay for college. I heard if you make straight A’s you can get a scholarship that pays for you whole college but I make A’s, B’s & C’s. Also if you’re good at a sport you can get scholarships. I play track & cross country but I’m one of the last few to cross the finish line which is not good enough for a scholarship. I have no idea if i’m going to be able to get enough scholarships to pay for college. I was wondering if I can get a job in graphics design that has a good pay with only a high school diploma & a photoshop cs4 certification. Any sources for scholarships in addition would be greatly appreciated.

i know every one hates community colleges, but if you’re doing graphic design then a class from a community college may be good enough. and with your grades the only other option is to take a loan, and you have to pay back all of that.

I know this isn’t relevant, but we have so much in common! I’m on the cross country team (not the best =P) and both of my parents do graphic design!!

In July 2011, eighty nine students graduated with a Diploma in Interior Design awarded by KLC School of Design in London. Fifty six students had studied full-time for 9 months, thirty three had studied part-time for 27 months. These are the thoughts and recollections of five of those students. This video gives an insight into the Diploma in Interior Design at KLC School of Design, London, with the thoughts of some graduating students and showing students working in studio on their projects. KLC provides courses in interior design and garden design with studios at Chelsea Harbour, London (interior design courses) and at Hampton Court Palace (garden design courses). There are various methods of study to suit different lifestyles (full time, part time, blended learning and open learning), with durations from one day to one year (full time), or two years (blended learning). KLC’s Diploma in Interior Design is validated by Brighton University. KLCs qualifications have always had the respect of designers worldwide, but this new development will extend that appeal and the portability of the training. For more information visit klc.co.uk.
