The University of Rhode Island has a department that grants degrees in Fashion, Merchandising and Design; Textile Marketing; Textile Science; as well as Master of Science in Textiles. It is also the only University in the country to offer a bachelor’s of science in Textiles.
The University has a fashion show called the Spring Splash every April that showcases designs from selected students. An awesome faculty, cool students, and a beautiful campus (I went to school at URI).
